Question

<font color="royalblue"> .....doll <u>outfits</u> have the "made in germany" OR "pleasant company" tags inside of them ??

I just received a pre-mattel Molly which has a "body tag" with "made in germany 1986", but the clothes she has on (which are exactly the same as pleasant company) have NO tags... My Molly that <u>is</u> mattel DOES have tags on her clothes...

    Just curious....
thanks in advance once again everyone..

mine have tags inside their clothes. Addy's "meet" dress says Pleasant Company Made in West Germany. None of them have body tags.

<font color="royalblue"> My Molly has a body tag which says "germany", not west germany.... My Josefina also has a "germany" body tag, so im presuming my dolls are later than the "west germany" ones but still before the "china ones" ??

I may be wrong on this, but my understanding is that the older pre-Mattel dolls do not have tags on the bodies (mine do not). The tags are on their clothes. Once Mattel bought the company, they did not immediately move operations to China, so someone could have a doll that is tagged Made in Germany and it still be a Mattel doll.
